The intense light source (IPL)

This device generates a broad strip of radiation of 515-1200 nm wavelength, absorbed in the skin by various substances present in it, such as hemoglobin or melanin, therefore it can be used to treat various cosmetic defects and dermatological diseases.

The treatments with the IPL are highly effective in eliminating and reducing the intensity of erythema as well as removing little telangiectasia and pigmented spots. The positive effect of the light beam on the formation of collagen and elastin in the skin is used in photorejuvenation treatments, leading to reducing tiny wrinkles; smoothing out the skin surface; improving its colour and tension; restoring sparkle and removing the signs of tiredness. IPL device therapy is also effective in treating acne.
